A pallet shuffle fixes a load that was built in the wrong order. When a multi-stop trailer is loaded with the first stop at the nose and the last stop at the tail, the driver ends up unloading and reloading at every customer, which wastes hours, risks damage and can get the truck turned away. We pull the trailer into one of our dock-high doors, unload it, and rebuild it in stop order so each delivery comes off cleanly.

Brokers and carriers also use a pallet shuffle to fix overweight axles, move heavy pallets over the tandems, or pull out freight bound for a stop that canceled. Because our dock is minutes from I-95 and I-295, it is a quick detour for trucks heading north to DC and Baltimore or south to the Carolinas.

Shuffles are priced like a cross-dock transfer: from $20 per pallet handled, $200 weekday minimum, plus a $250 fee for nights, weekends and after-hours. We send before and after photos and a note of the new load order with the signed BOL.
